Welcome everyone to my first blog post! I’m honored you’ve came to this corner of the internet. :)

In 2026, I want to be more intentional with my photography & video production business. Blogging is one of the ways I want to document my progress, share helpful knowledge for people preparing to be photographed, and share my journey, not just as a creator, but as a business owner. For this first post, I want to keep it simple and introduce myself and the brand.

My story and why I’m starting this now

I’ve always been a creative kid. I tried a little bit of everything; violin, drums, guitar, crafts, and whatever project I could get my hands on. But through every season of my life, one thing stayed constant: creating with a camera.

It started back in middle school when I picked up an iPod Touch (4th generation) and began making little video projects. That interest carried into college (where I studied media), then into my professional work today.

After graduating, I spent nearly four years working full-time at an educational institution, producing tens of thousands of photos and countless videos. I learned a lot, and I’m grateful for what that season gave me. But it also meant I didn’t have the bandwidth to grow my own brand the way I wanted. INNER DELIGHT STUDIO existed, but it stayed on the side.

When burnout hit, I honestly wondered if I should change careers altogether. But the more I stepped back, the more I realized this has been the constant thread in my life. Even when I tried to move away from it, I still felt a tug to come back. I knew I would regret it if I never gave this an honest attempt, at least once, to build it with seriousness. So in late 2025, INNER DELIGHT STUDIO became an officially registered business in California.

I believe my creativity is a gift from God, and I want to steward it well. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m grateful you’re here for the start of it. I’ll share more of my story over time, but that’s the overview of who I am as a creative professional.

The meaning behind INNER DELIGHT STUDIO

I created this brand in 2019 inspired by a Bible study in Romans. One verse that stayed with me was Romans 7:22, where Paul says that in his inner being, he delights in God’s law.

In a time where it can be difficult to live faithfully, I believe real joy still comes from abiding in God. “Inner delight” isn’t shallow happiness; it’s joy shaped by truth, love, and meaning.

That is what I want this brand to reflect.

Whether I’m documenting the joy between a husband and wife in a wedding, the joy of family, or a meaningful season in someone’s personal life, I believe these moments carry God-given beauty. Inner Delight Studio exists to capture that kind of delight.

I could say much more, and I probably will over time. For now, I’ll leave it there.

My promise, style, and what it’s like to work with me

Over the years, I’ve explored all kinds of aesthetics; cinematic, film-like, airy, and everything in between. Each style has its own beauty. But I’ve realized INNER DELIGHT STUDIO needs to stand for something clear and consistent.

My goal is to capture joy as purely as possible, while honoring how beautiful it truly is.

My style is natural, classic, and timeless, with a sense of elegance. I want photos that feel like a moment frozen in time. Images you can return to years from now and still feel the warmth, meaning, and joy. I’m not chasing heavy trends or edits that overpower the story. I want the emotion to stay honest. I want the connection to feel real and lasting.

And during the shoot, I’ll guide you through it. I’m naturally somewhere between introverted and extroverted, which means I can bring energy when we need it (for genuine smiles and momentum), and I can stay calm when the moment calls for something quieter. I’ll help with posing, keep things comfortable, and make sure we’re having a good time along the way.

Thank you for being here. This is just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead for INNER DELIGHT STUDIO in 2026 and beyond.
